Marcel Couturier Pouilly-Loché ”Vieilles Vignes” '21

Auxence, Marcel’s son, is an admirer of biodiversity started organic farming in 2018, certified in 2021 then into biodynamic agriculture in 2019, certified in 2022.

Made from 100% Chardonnay grapes. This parcel has deep, predominantly clay soil (60%) with very little limestone. This cuvée is made from several parcels of land in the village of Loché in southern Burgundy’s Mâconnais region. The vines are 90 years old or older.  Pale gold in color. This cuvée reveals intense aromas of small white flowers, white fruit, fresh butter and toasted hazelnut on the nose.
